Reuben Turns One!

I love what I do, I love capturing newborns in their first days, and I remember every single one. The most memorable one (so far!) was Reuben. Reuben would not sleep a wink during his newborn session, the only baby so far to do so! I normally have quite a knack with newborns too!

Thankfully Reuben was a calm baby and we got some lovely shots of him, like the one here.

Imagine my joy when Reuben's mum contacted me and asked to do his first year photos, and a cake smash! At least this time I knew I didn't have to get him to sleep!

I start my cake smash sessions with a portrait session to get the little ones relaxed in the studio. Reuben loved the big fluffy rug! Big brother Wilbur was persuaded in front of the camera (with help from a little packet of biscuits I keep handy in the studio!) and it was clear how much he loved his baby brother!
