New Year - New Ventures! Introducing LC Wedding & Events Photography Cambridgeshire

Happy New Year!!

This year brings lots of new things to the business, including a sister site for weddings, events (including childrens parties) and adult portraiture (couples shoots, boudoir etc). This has been in the works since last summer, and soon the website will be ready to go live!!

I am so excited about this; I used to photograph weddings way back before I had children and before we moved down to the Cambridge area and I absolutely adored doing them! I took a break as babies and 12 hour weddings plus the hard work in the weeks before and after just didn't suit our family life.

As a way to stretch my legs again, I was lucky enough to be invited to second shoot a wedding with a photographer friend, Marie, of Slice of Life Photography back in August. The wedding of Zoe & Richard was just lovely and so much fun - although I've never met a couple so relaxed! 

We arrived for bridal preparations at the couples' home in Peterborough, onwards to Thorney for some formal photographs and the big dress reveal (oh, the tears - even I had to wipe my eyes!!) before they were married at the beautiful Thorney Abbey. The reception was held at Thorney Golf Club which had some stunning views which we made the most of!
